RODENT EXCLUSION

RODENT CONTROL AND EXCLUSION

Woodland | Davis | Dixon | Winters

Rodent Control

Our basic rodent control service is $165 and comes with a 30-day guarantee. This service includes an initial visit where we place glue boards, snap traps, and bait boxes as necessary and up to 3 call back visits to remove dead rodents, reset sprung traps, and rebait the boxes.

Rodent Exclusion

If rodents are an ongoing problem at your property, you should consider our rodent exclusion service. This is a one-time service that starts with a thorough inspection of your property including the exterior, interior, attic, and crawl space. The cost of this inspection is $125.00. Once that is done, we will provide you a written proposal for the exclusion service. The proposal will list all entry points discovered by the inspector and the method of exclusion to be used (foam, screening, etc.). The exclusion work is guaranteed for 1 year.

Most Common Rodents In Our Area

The most common rodents in our area are House Mice, Norway Rats, and Roof Rats.

House Mice

House mice can sometimes transmit diseases and spread germs by contaminating the surfaces they traverse on including food items and food preparation areas; especially when leaving behind fecal matter. They not only are a health risk, but their gnawing and scratching in attempts to find food and nesting materials can cause serious and costly damages. House mice can be brown, grey, or white and have round furry bodies with pointed noses, large ears, and long, hairless tails.

Norway Rats

Norway rats are generally more grounded as opposed to roof rats, favoring to linger in basements or ground floors, but if circumstances permit, they will travel along rooftops and power lines. From the tips of their noses to the end of their tails, they are approximately 17 inches long and weigh up to 17 ounces. Norway rats can adapt to nearly any environment and can live in both outdoors and inside.

Roof Rats

Roof rats have a softer and smoother fur than Norway rats, but have an impressive ability to climb to great heights and typically make their homes in attic spaces, above ceilings, in vents and other high dwelling areas; outside they are in dense vegetation and in trees.
